Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on October 2,
1996, at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioner's Room, Courthouse, Fergus Falls,
Minnesota.
Roll Call:
Linda Bergerud, Les Estes, Fred Marker, Carl Johnson,Members Present:
Frank Lachowitzer, Bert Olson, Robert Ronningen, Robert Schwartz, David
Trites and Leona Zimmerman.
Members Absent: None.
David Hauser represented the County Attorney's Office and Bill Kalar
represented the Land & Resource Management Office.
Minutes of September 4. 1996:
A motion by Olson, second by Estes to approve the minutes of September 4,
1996 as mailed. All members voted in favor.
Bryan 8. L. LonskieZ-Ianadu" - Approved With Condition:
A Conditional Use Application to convert our house into a Bed & Breakfast (5
bedrooms for guests). We have contracts to do new sewer and water systems
to the current code as much as possible. The resort portion will operate as
it currently is and the Bed & Breakfast would be open year around. The
property is described as SL 1 of Lot 3 ("Xanadu") of Section 29, Everts
Township; Elbow (Bass) Lake (56”306), NE.
Mr. & Mrs. Bryan Lonskie represented the Application.
Morrill and Jeff Zachman expressed concerns regarding the sewage system
meeting code; Deb Zachman requested the Commission table the Application to
allow them to view the area.
Gladen Kern, Steve
A motion by Trites, second by Bergerud to approve as presented, provided the
septic system is upgraded.
Voting: All members in favor, except Zimmerman voted no.
