MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to
approve a variance to subdivide from an existing 6.62 acre parcel, for permanent attachment
to Lot 1, Leek Lake Heights, a parcel having lake frontage of 30', a length of 198.22' and
tapering to 0' of width at the rear of the parcel with the condition that a registered
surveyor's drawing must be provided at the time of recording. It was noted that the
subdivision will make an adjacent parcel larger and will have no negative affects on the
balance of the applicant's property. The applicant's property after the subdivision will
still have ample area.

IWilliam L. Keisven, Fargo, KD, requested a variance of 30’ from the required top ol bluff
setback of 30’ for the placement of a structure 0’ from the top of the bluff,
property is described as part of Government Lot 4, Section 9 of Dunn Tov.nship on Pelican
Lake.

consideration, moticin was made by Randall Manri, seconded by John Everts, to approve a 10’

structure and to grant no other variances for the balance of the structure,
failed vith Leslie Estes, Craig Anderson, Cecil Fernling and George Walter voting no.
After additional consideration, motion was made by Cecil Fernling, seconded by Craig
Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 3' variance from the required top of bluff
setback of 30’ for the placement of any portion of the structure 27’ from the top of the
bluff.

Charles Sill - Approved
Charles Will, Underwood, UN, requested a variance to subdivide a 2.35 acre parcel from an
existing 77.3 acre parcel. The parcel would be attached to a lake lot presently owned by
William liiller. The property is described as part of Government Lot 3, Section 2& of
Tordenskjold Township on Stalker Lake. Keith McKay, Realtor, represented the applicant at
the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Cecil Fernling
and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide a 2.35 acre parcel from an
existing 77.3 acre parcel with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be
provided at the time of recording and with the condition that the parcel cannot be used
for a residential dwelling. It was noted that the parcel will be attached to a lake lot
presently owned by William Miller. It should be noted that the parcel meets the minimum
size requirements for platted back lots on a recreational development lake.

Robert Wilson, Vergas, MN, requested a variance to subdivide from an existing 6.62 acre
parcel, for permanent attachment to Lot 1, Leek Lake Heights, a parcel having lake
frontage of 30’, a length of 196.22” and tapering to 0’ of width at the rear of the
parcel. The property is described as part of Government Lot 2, Section 16 of Candor
Township on Leek Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts
and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide from an existing 6.62 acre
parcel, for permanent attachment to Lot 1, Leek Lake Heights, a parcel having lake
frontage of 30’, a length of 19S.22’ and tapering to 0’ of width at the rear of the parcel
with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided at the time of
recording. It was noted that the subdivision will make an adjacent parcel larger and will
have no negative affects on the balance of the applicant’s property. The applicant’s
property after the subdivision will still have ample area.
