It was noted that the subdivision will make an adjacent parcel larger and will have no negative affects on the balance of the applicant's property. After additional consideration, motion was made by Cecil Fernling, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 3' variance from the required top of bluff setback of 30’ for the placement of any portion of the structure 27’ from the top of the bluff. The motion Hardship being the terrain and topography of the applicant’s property. Charles Sill - Approved Charles Will, Underwood, UN, requested a variance to subdivide a 2.35 acre parcel from an existing 77.3 acre parcel. The parcel would be attached to a lake lot presently owned by William liiller. The property is described as part of Government Lot 3, Section 2& of Tordenskjold Township on Stalker Lake. Keith McKay, Realtor, represented the applicant at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Cecil Fernling and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide a 2.35 acre parcel from an existing 77.3 acre parcel with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided at the time of recording and with the condition that the parcel cannot be used for a residential dwelling. It was noted that the parcel will be attached to a lake lot presently owned by William Miller. It should be noted that the parcel meets the minimum size requirements for platted back lots on a recreational development lake. Robert Wilson - Approved Robert Wilson, Vergas, MN, requested a variance to subdivide from an existing 6.62 acre parcel, for permanent attachment to Lot 1, Leek Lake Heights, a parcel having lake frontage of 30’, a length of 196.22” and tapering to 0’ of width at the rear of the parcel. The property is described as part of Government Lot 2, Section 16 of Candor Township on Leek Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide from an existing 6.62 acre parcel, for permanent attachment to Lot 1, Leek Lake Heights, a parcel having lake frontage of 30’, a length of 19S.22’ and tapering to 0’ of width at the rear of the parcel with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided at the time of recording.
