They have a chance to sell the resort and herewith enclosed is a photo copy oi the Contract for Deed, The area immediately surrounding the resort is a part oi Govt. Lot 9. Applicants have had the resort area surveyed hy a registered surveyor, and it is 1.3 plus acres. Enclosed is a copy oi the surveyor's map. The resort abuts on State Highway 108, It consists oi 5 cabins, a bath house, a minnow house, a boat dock ana 5 boats. There is also a water wel^, water piping, hook-ups for campers and sewer facilities. The resot of Lot 9 is owned by applicants, and their home is situated thereonApplicants desire a variance permitting the sale of this resort. ' Motion was made by Tom Stringer to approve the minutes of the »■ ♦November 5th meeting with the following amendments: Re inhold Wendt, Dent, MN in addition to reasons for approval as noted, to also include location of adjacent dwelling made the location of different boundaries not appropriate. The minutes of the October meeting were approved. The following applications for variance were considered: George Johnson, Detroit Lakes, MN, requested permission to enclose an existing 10 deck, 50' from lake, on Lot C of Osterman Survey Lots of G.L. 9, Section 7,X 28 Hobart Township.After discussion, motion was made by David Trites, seconded by Tom Stringer and carried, to deny approval as no grounds for hardship have been established. Reinhold Wendt, Dent, MN,requested permission to sell that portion of property «located in Section 36, Dora Township, which has been an established resort of 1.3 acres, by metes and bounds description.After discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to approve request, because of health reasons and because the resort will remain unchanged having been grand fathered in. Arvid Swanson, Dent, MN, requested permission to sell a 1.03 acre parcel by metes and bounds description in G.L. 3, Section 35, Star Lake Township.. After con sideration, motion wasmadeby John Everts, seconded by David Trites and carried. to approve request, being a unique situation, best use of property, grandfathered in because of location of home.
