Hwy 8 Perham, MN 56573 RE: Resort Compliance, Big Pine Lake (56-130), GD Dear Mr. & Ms. Mycke Please be advised that on October 4, 2012, our office conducted an onsite inspection of Whispering Pines Resort in response to Ms. Mycke’s October 1,2012 telephone call. This inspection revealed that the number of Recreational Camping Units (campers) had been reduced to the allowable 14. Since this is the case. Whispering Pines Resort is hereby considered compliant with the density provisions of Conditional Use Permit #5984 (September 25, 2002). Thank you for your cooperation in resolving this matter. I find that your proposal is compliant with our June 6, 2012 discussion. Since this is the case, please notify our Office once the reduction/relocation of campsites ,4# has been completed so that a site inspection can be made. The resort will be in noncompliance (with your approval) through October 1. As of October 1, 2012 the resort will no longer have camping/transient spots and one permanent RV spot will be removed. The resort will then be in compliance with our licensing indicating the 12 cabins and 14 seasonal RV sites totaling the 26 dwellings per our discussion. In order to get in compliance with the Minnesota State Department of Health, two RV's will be moved to two new locations and one RV will be moved to accommodate the state's requirement of 10 feet of space in between RV's. Please see attached map. We hope to accomplish this in September so that by the end of resort season everything is in order.
