Motion by Huebsch, second by Lindquist, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit for
topographical work to accommodate a proposed walkout basement with conditions as recommended by
the Planning Commission. The proposal is located at Hoffman’s Beach Ely 'A Lot 18 & all Lot 17,
Section 24 of Dora Township, West McDonald Lake (56-386).
Daye & Deb’s Subdiyision, Dayid S. Maikrzak, LLC - Preliminary Plat:
Motion by Froemming, second by Huebsch, and unanimously carried to approve, as presented, the
Preliminary Plat entitled “Dave and Deb’s Subdivision” consisting of 2 single family residential lots. The
proposal is located at Pt of GL 6, Section 3 & Pt of NE%NE%, Section 10 of Dunn Township, Pelican Lake
(56-786).
Greenwood Lake Aire Villa. James & Janice Williams - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Lindquist, second by Froemming, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit
to add a basement to an existing cabin as presented. The proposal is located at Greenwood Lake Aire
Villas Condo #18 Lots 4 & 18 BIk 1 and Int in Lots 6 & 35 BIk 1 Common Lots, Section 29 of Otter Tail
Township, Otter Tail Lake (56-242)
Wee Vila Resort LLLP - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Johnson, second by Huebsch, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit for
roof and manufactured home replacements and the proposed 5 year plan as presented. The proposal is
located at Lot 4 ex trs (36.15 acres). Section 14 of Elizabeth Township, Long Lake (56-784),
Mary Jane Peterson Trust - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Lindquist, second by Froemming, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit
for topographical work to construct a walkout basement with conditions as recommended by the Planning
Commission. The proposal is located at Stalker View Acres Lot 2 BIk 1, Section 27 of Tordenskjold
Township, Stalker Lake (56-437).
Lu Jean Schei (purchaser from New Horizons) - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Lindquist, second by Huebsch, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit to
construct Phase I of a grain handling facility, (4 grain bins) with conditions as recommended by the
Planning Commission. The proposal is located at Pt of GL 1, Section 6 of Tordenskjold Township,
Unnamed Lake (56-425).
Dayid & Erin Schultz - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Huebsch, second by Johnson, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit to
construct a driveway to a proposed building site with a condition as recommended by the Planning
Commission. The proposal is located at Pt GL 5, 6, & 7, 43.3 AC, Section 19 of Hobart Township, Rose
Lake (56-360).
Steyen R. & Barbara D. Nelson - Conditional Use Permit:
Motion by Lindquist, second by Froemming, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit
for earthmoving work to construct a driveway and building site with a condition as recommended by the
Planning Commission. The proposal is located at Lots 4 & 5 & pt of Lot 6...(93.5 AC), Section 15 of
Sverdrup Township, Crooked Lake, (56-458).

5x12 pitched roof with T overhang with existing 14 x 58 trailer. #4). Lot #52 - Replace
existing 12 x 60 trailer with new 14 x 52 trailer; deck to remain. #5). 5 Year Plan - to
replace existing flat roofs with 5x12 pitched roofs with T overhang on existing 14 trailers
(map on file at Land & Resource Mgt. Office). The proposal is located at Lot 4 ex trs (36.15
AC), Section 14 of Elizabeth Township: Long Lake (56-784), RD.
Cory Heit represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Boyer, second by Maske to approve as presented. Voting: All

7:10 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. - Discussion / Break:
1. Planning Commission Representation at Board of Adjustment Meetings was
determined.
2. Employment Status of Ditch Viewers and Other Appointed Board and Commission
Members were explained to the Commission Members by County Attorney, David
Hauser. A memo, from David Hauser (County Attorney), of explanation was provided
to the Commission Members.
3. Bill Kalar informed the Commission Members that the developer of the Otter Tail
Lake Cluster Development of “Homestead on Otter Tail’’ has indicated that they plan
on completing the reguired EAW.
4. Break.
Mary Jane Peterson Trust - Approved With Conditions:
A Conditional Use Permit Application (as stated by the Applicant on the Application): Request
Conditional Use Permit to allow for walkout basement. This would require removing earth in
15’ X 15’ area, SE corner of basement, 2’ to 0’ grade as moving to south as slopes toward
lake - allow walkout patio door. Earth to be moved: Garage 15 yds; basement 213 yds;
walkout area 25 yds (15’ wide x 15’ long); driveway 15 yds. Total = 268 yds excavation. Fill
& backfill: Clean sand basement 38 yds; garage 54 yds; driveway 15 yds. Total backfill to
house to prevent erosion - 100 yds fill. Any leftover dirt will be hauled away. Berm on
lotline if needed to protect neighbor from run off. Retaining wall on west side of patio 22’
long and approximately 2’ wide. Retaining wall on east side of house - approximately 14’
from house running south up to 54’ long IF NEEDED! The proposal is located at Stalker
View Acres Lot 2 Blk 1, Section 27 of Tordenskjold Township: Stalker Lake (56-437), RD.
