Conditional Use Application as recommended by the Planning Commission:

Preliminary Plats:
Paul Leonard representing Northern Recreational Properties addressed the Board
requesting approval of the final plat for "Rush Bay View" by posting a road bond in
escrow with Otter Tail County before construction of the road.
Commissioner Lee stated that he was opposed to a road bond because it is a variance to
the standard rules.
Discussion followed.
The general consensus of the Board looked favorably on the plat
filed and the only opposition to the plat as presented is completion of the road.
Motion by Windels, seconded Portmann and unanimously carried to approve the following
Preliminary Plat as recommended by the Planning Commission:
"Rush Bay View", Northern Recreational Properties, Rush Lake
Motion by Lee, seconded Lindquist and unanimously carried to approve the following
Preliminary Plat as recommended by the Planning Commission:
"Marcjuardt Villa", John Marquardt, Fish Lake
Final Plats:
Motion by Windels, seconded Lee and unanimously carried to approve the final plat of
"Rainbow Point", Lazy Acres Development, Marion Lake (Section 7, Rush Lake Township,
Rush Lake).
Motion by Lindquist, seconded Windels and imanimously carried to approve the final plat
of "Axdahl Beach", Leo & Sharon Axdahl, Round Lake (Section 5, Everts Township).

Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on November 1,
1995, at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioner's Room, Court House, Fergus Falls,
Minnesota.
Roll Call;
Les Estes, Fred Marker, Carl Johnson, Frank Lachowitzer,Members Present;
Bert Olson, Robert Ronningen, David Trites (arrived at 7:10) and Leona
Zimmerman.
Robert Schwartz and Diane Prischmann.Members Absent:
Curt Mortenson and Wally Senyk represented the County Attorney's Office and
Bill Kalar represented the Land & Resource Management Office.
Minutes of October 4. 1995;
A motion by Zimmerman, second by Olson to approve with the correction that
Zimmerman voted "no" on the Lisa & Ranee Brendefur and Doug Kramer, East
Battle Lake.
Voting; All members in favor.

We would like to dig a pond for ducks and wildlife and using some of the
soil removed to level out campsite and road. The pond would be roughly 30
yds wide by 80 yds long. We want the water level to be a maximum of 3-5 ft.
deep. The campsite would be levelled for ease of camping with the area to
east of bus to be used for future storage shed. The road (which is rough
cut now) needs to have some rocks and stumps removed and rough spots
levelled out.The property is described as 42.6 Ac. in Gov. Lots 1, 2 & 3,
Section 32, Rush Lake Township; Long Lake (56-210), RD.
Michael Vierzba represented the Application.
A motion by Olson, second by Lachowitzer to approve as presented.
