Motion by Mosher, second by Block, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use
Permit for a cabin replacement as presented. The property is described as Pt of GL 4, (8.44
AC), Section 36 of Sverdrup Township; South Turtle Lake (56-377), RD.
Preliminary Plat & Conditional Use Permit - “Majestic Oaks of Rush Lake"/
Robert & Carol Martinson, Juanita Gronda:
Motion by Nelson, second by Mosher, and unanimously carried to deny the proposed
Preliminary Plat known as “Majestic Oaks of Rush Lake" consisting of 20 single family
residential lots and a Conditional Use Permit to construct a road to service the plat. The
reasons for denial are as stated in the Otter Tail County Planning Commission minutes dated
November 8, 2006. The property is described as Pt of GL’s 1,2 & 3, Section 17 and Pt of GL

Permit to operate a Real Estate Office with a previously approved Gift Shop as
recommended by the Planning Commission. The reasons for denial are as stated in the
Otter Tail County Planning Commission minutes dated November 8, 2006. The property is

like to replace their old mobile home with a new one. The old one was damaged in the
storm in June 2005. The old one is 40 x 10 - 2 bedroom. The new one will be 2 bedroom

Request. Real Estate Offices in barn along with previously approved Gift Shop (#5597).
Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., 5 days a week for Real Estate Office and 10:00 A.M. - 5:00
P.M., 7 days a week (Seasonal) for Gift Shop. Sign: 5’ x 5’ lighted. Parking: 2 for Real
Estate Office and 13 for Gift Shop. Access off US Hwy 59 has been approved to be moved
by the State to serve both properties. Proposed new driveway and access is drawn
(drawing on file with Land & Resource Mgt. Office). The property is described as Pt NW1/4

Nobody was present to represent the Application. (The Commission waited until the last
Applicant was considered to allow time for this Applicant to arrive.)
A motion by Maske, second by Wilson to deny, reasons being lack of
representation, and lack of detail on the proposed driveway. Voting: All Members in favor.

loading dock to existing freezers. Existing freezers are 25 x 40 and 30 x 40. Add storage
for Ice Plant approved by County Board in November 19, 1996. The property is described
as Pt GL 4, (4.17 AC), Section 5 of Rush Lake Township; Marion Lake (56-243), GD.
David Chase represented the Application.

Larry & Cathy Villella - Denied:
A Conditional Use Permit Application (as stated by the Applicant): This is an After-the-Fact
Request. I am applying for the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to legalize the leveling of the
dirt and removal of ice ridge within the 50’ boundary of the lake for the purpose of planting
grass and trees. Area has been seeded and & silt fence installed (see attached letter -
letter on file with Land & Resource Mgt. Office). Approximately 213 cubic yards of
earthmoving. The property is described as Lot 7 Black Lab Beach, Section 34 of Dunn
