UiNN MINUTES OF THE r'EETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT November 7, 1985 Ihe Otter Tail Coijnty Board of Adjustment met in the County Camds- sioners Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Thursday, November 7, 1985, with the following members present: II present George Walter Marcus Weichmann June F^an Roger Marty Craig Anderson John Everts Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no corrections or additions to the October 3rd meeting minutes, declared same approved as mailed. . ^ The following applications for variance were considered; George & Barbara Fehrenbacker, V^oming, IL, represented by Irving Dewey of Fergus Falls, requested permission to allow a storage shed to remain as presently located on Lot 1, Moore's Beach, 12' from Pickeral Lake, Maine Township. After listening to the various inter­ ested parties, motion was made by Marcus l«feic±iman to deny, no adequate hardship shown. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. all to order mutes approved anied Charles O. Bladholm, Jiarshall, MJ, requested permission to build on the cabin's existing foundation and put a 14' x 20' addition towards Blanche Lake, on Lot 53, Kiirber Beach, Girard Township. AFter listen­ ing to the varioxos interested parties, motion was made by Craig Ander­ son to ^prove, no’change of 7' side lot variance by denying the variance, must meet the string test on the lake side for the addition. The motion was seconded by John Everts but failed with Roger Marty, June Ryan and George Walter voting "no". Motion was then irade by June I^an to allow building up to "string test", with no side lot variance, allowing applicant to enjoy the same rights and privileges as neichbors enjoy. The moticax was seconded by Roger Mary and carried unanimously. Robert P. Anderson, Perham, MN requested permission to convey a parcel of land less than acres, out of G.L. 1, Section 15, Edna Township. After consideration, motion was made by Credg Anderson, seconded by Roger Marty and unanimously carried, to approve, meets all platting standards, missing the ordinance deadline by two days, at the time original split was made. l^Siry R. Troje, Saint Paul, MSI, requested permission to allow a 10' x 12' storage shed remain as presently located 20' frcm shore in the NE^ of Section 27, Dead Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Roger Mary, secoxded Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to deny, no adequate hardship shown. Chuck Ctoerg, Wahpeton, ND, represented by Darold \"toessner, Fergus Falls, MSI, requested permission to construct.' , addition to dwelling approximately 25' frcm lake on Lot 27, Blase's Beach, Otter Tail Tov/n- ship. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to approve, hardship being the unusual terrain with several other cottages in the vacinity being the same distance from the lake, no precedence being set using the "string test".
