LAND & RESOURCE
July 7, 1995
Dear Tim,
This is the retaining wall replacement description for Anne
Rage's cottage you requested during our phone conversation on
July 6, 1995. The area to be improved is located on the north
shore of Swan Lake, Section 19, Dane Prairie, Twp., Swan Lake
Club, Gate #1, Fire number 589-8888. When entering gate # 1,
take the first left, then the first right to the cottage—see map
below.
The existing retaining walls along the shore are in various
states of decay. When one section of landscape timbers on the
shoreline lost a post, due to it being poorly set, they collapsed
and the retained soil began to eroded. The other areas on Mrs.
Hage's beach also have wood retaining walls in poor condition.
This beach needs to be stabilized as soon as possible. Tom
Sullivan, from Nature's World Nursery, said he could install the
Anchor Diamond retaining wall system two weeks from the work
order being placed. Mrs. Hage would like to initiate the project
at the earliest possible date. Thanks for your consideration.
