Dear Mr. Lukas:
This is to inform you that at the September 7, 1988 meeting of the Otter
Tail County Planning Commission a motion was passed to approve your
conditional use application to allow the applicant to construct 2 new cabins
on Sunset Bay Resort and they are to be located as depicted on the drawing
that was submitted with the application; also the office building may not be
used as a dwelling unit.
The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners will consider this application
on September lA, 1988 at 1:00 P.M.

A motion by Olson, second by Stringer to approve the conditional
use application of Gerald Wiese. West Battle Lake, 56-239, GD, on
Lot 16, Beverly Beach in G.L. 3, Section 26, Everts Township
using the Ponderosa Pine Tree and the Boxelder Tree on Bob
Hanson's lot as the markers - the cut may be no closer to the
lake than these trees; the cut shall be deeper at the house end
of the cut than at the lakeside of the cut, the cut is not to
exceed 4 feet.

A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Petterson to approve the
conditional use application of Carol Ann Sersland (Taylor
Investment) and preliminary plat of Loon Lookout, West Loon Lake,
56-523, RD, in Pt. of Government Lots 5 & 6, Section 3, Dora
Township as presented with the condition that the road does
extend from lotline to lotline and also that the road meets
County specifications as indicated in the Subdivision Controls
Ordinance.

Dead Lake Township. The request was changed by the applicant to
not remove any cabins from the Dead Lake Outpost Resort (it was
sold) and to expand and construct 2 additional cabins on Sunset
Bay Resort. The approved motion was to allow the applicant to
construct 2 new cabins on Sunset Bay Resort and they are to be
located as depicted on the drawing that was submitted with the
application; also the office building may not be used as a
dwelling unit.

A motion by Femling, second by Petterson to approve the
conditional use application of Arthur L. Christianson, Lake Lida,
56-747, GD, on Lot 1, Stony Bar Estates, Section 32, Lida
Township as presented, provided all the work is done landward of
the ice ridge.
