Larry Krchn, County Coordinator, discussed the matter of insurance
premium increases on dependent coverage, presenting a letter fitan
sonei enplcyees in the Department of Human Services requesting the County Board consider paying a portion of the January premium to
alleviate sere of the stress on the enployees in the increased
dependent coverage costs. No action taken.
DEPENDENT CCVERAGE COSTS INCREASE
Krohn reported on an increased cost of the Eliplcyee Assistance Pro
gram proposed for 1991.
Lakeland Mental Health Center and attaipt an increase of no more
than 4%.
EMPLOyEE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM The Board instructed ftrohn to return to
Krohn advised the Board a mediation heeuring on January 24, 1991,
on the Law Enforcement union groui^.
Motion was made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Bert Hovland and car
ried, to approve advertising for the position of financial accountant
in the auditor's office.

Use Application of Russell R. Green. East Battle Lake, (56-136),
RD, Pt. Government Lot 1, Section 23, Girard Township allowing to
fill to the approximate level of the road on each side (a maximum
of 18*) also will allow the mound sewage system, this fill Is
approved subject to written approval from the Township.

Conditional Use Application of James Beaton. Crystal Lake, (56-
749), RD, Government Lot 1, Section 3 & Government Lots 4 & 5,
Section 2, Lida Township to approve the duck pond construction -
after contacting the Army Corps A the DNR (and receiving
permission from them). It shall be constructed to ASCS
specifications. Anthony Vigen (Lida Townboard) spoke In favor as
long as It Is okay with the DNR A Lakeshore Management).
