This approval does not authorize the cleaning out of vegetation or the addition of sand at the beach. This partial CUP approval and partial CUP denial was recommended by the Planning Commission at their meeting on September 14, 2011. Legislative Discussion Senator Gretchen Hoffman met the Board members and discussed various State financial issues and initiatives. Discussion took place regarding the County’s loss of state-paid market value homestead credit, the County’s reduction in workforce, inequity of the formula used to determine schools funding increases, cost of the recent State shutdown, and the need for the State to make decisions regarding consolidation of counties. Motion - August 10, 2011: A motion by Wilson, second by Schwartz to table (at the Applicant’s request) to September 14, 2011 to allow time for the Applicant to provide an Engineer’s drawing detailing the project, drawing must include a drainage plan and the finished contours.
