RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS, the 1989 campaign of the United Way of Fergus Falls, INc.,
will commence on September 16, 1988, and
WHEREAS, contribution to this campaign supports fully, or in part,
22 organizations, and
WHEREAS, employees, by mutual agreement between United Ways, are
asked to contribute where they work in order to utilize payroll with
holding,
NOW. THERLFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, th.it the Otter Tail County Board of
Commissioners encourages the participation of all county employees
in their United Way Campaigns,
BE IT EURTIIEP RESOLVED, th.it thr Rnard of County Commissioners en
courages the use of payroll withholding for this purpose and the
Board adopts the goal of $1 ,674.00 for the Courthouse and Sheriff's
Department, and $862.00 for the Government Services Building.

Tail County Planning Commission a motion was passed to approve your
conditional use application as presented as the application meets both the
lake frontage and area requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of
Otter Tail County.
The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners will consider this application
on September 14, 1988 at 1:00 P.M.

A motion by Stringer, second by Olson to approve the conditional
use application of Dale Hinsverk. Otter Tail Lake, 56-242, GD, on
Lot 20, Pleasure Beach Resort, Section 2, Everts Township as
follows: 1. To allow placement of sand in the beach area as
depicted in red in the drawing - provided that the elevation on
the east side is no higher than the adjacent neighbor - may go no
more than 20 feet back from the survey stake with the sand; and
on the west side the applicant must taper to the neighbor's
grade. There may not be any retaining walls between the sand and
the east and/or west neighbors. The applicant may build the
sidewalk as requested to separate the sand from the yard. 2.
Regarding the fill between the house and the sand it is allowed,
providing no fill placed is greater than what currently exists.
Regarding the backyard and sideyard area, the applicant may
landscape provided he allows drainage from the east to flow out
either to the west or south side of his property. 3. The
request to do the work this fall is denied. JoAnn Hinsverk
accompanied the applicant.

A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Stringer to approve the
conditional use application of Charles P. Scherz, Devils Lake,
56-245, GD, at Lakeview Acres Resort, Section 6, Perham Township
as presented as the application meets both the lake frontage and
area requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter
Tail County.

A motion by Stringer, second by Femling to approve the
conditional use application of Don Maudal (Taylor Investment),
Fiske Lake, 56-430, NE, on Pt. of Government Lots 6 & 7, Section
12, Tordenskjold Township to allow construction of the private
roadway to serve Auditor's Subdivision #112 - subject to
compliance to County specifications. Motion was withdrawn. John
Alden, Taylor Investment spoke to the Commission along with the
applicant.

A motion by Stringer, second by Femling failed to approve the
conditional use application of Don Maudal (Taylor Investment),
Fiske Lake, 56-430, to allow construction of 750' of private
roadway as shown on the drawing of Auditor's Subdivision #112
with the condition that a culvert is included.
