Request to move the west boundary line of parcel #17000170232000, east approximately
46 feet, which would subtract 0.13 acres from the existing 0.64 acres to equal.0.51
acres remaining. The 0.13 acres would be added to parcel #17000170232006 to equal
1.06 acres more or less.
The reason for requesting a variance to move the boundary is to include an: existing
water well which was intended to be on parcel #17000170232006 to furnish water to
that cabin site.

I am writing in regards to the Variance Application referenced above. As we discussed on
the phone this afternoon, I can not process this Application. Since this is the case, I am
returning your Variance Application, drawings and $150.00 check.
The Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail County requires the property owner of
the parcel being split to file for the variance. If it works out for you to get in touch with the
adjacent property owner, I have included a Variance Application and a list of Meeting Dates
for your use. Our Office can also mail an Application to this property owner if necessary,
please just give our Office a call with the name and address.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT

This Purchase Agreement (hereinafter "Agreement") is made this 15™ day of May
2001, between Paces Lodging Corporation(Sellers) and Grant and Laurie Hoovestol
(Purchaser)

WHEREAS, Seller is the owner of certain tracts of land located in Otter Tail County,
Minnesota, being more particularly described as Lot 1 of Inwood Beach Addition No. 3 and
Reserve 2 of Inwood Beach Addition No. 3, according to the plat thereof on file and of
record with the Otter Tail County Recorder; and
That part of Government Lot 7, of Section 17, in Township 137 North, Range 42 West,
Otter Tail County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner
of said Section 17; thence North on the East line of said Section 17 a distance of 67.4 feet;
thence North 77 Degrees 00 minutes West on the Southerly side of a 33-foot public road
for a distance of 286.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence proceeding South parallel to
the East line of said Section 17 to the South line of said Section 17to the point where the
South line of Section 17 intersects the Southerly side of a 33-foot public road; thence in an
Easterly direction along the Southerly side of said 33-foot public road for a distance of
approximately 650 feet to the poi^ of beginning and there terminating.
