Representatives of Maine Township appeared before the Board relative to the Phelps Mill Bridge. No action taken. Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy Leitch and carired, to approve the plat of Norwood Beach, located in Section 10-136-40. Motion was made by Hub Nordgren,econded by Bert Hovland and car­ ried, to approve the application of Edwin Prescher, for special use permit lo construct fifteen condominium townhouse units with central sewage system, etc., on area known as Balmoral Resourt in Section 31 of Otter Tail Township, subject to conditional requirements. Passed:A motion by Ryan, second by Portmann to approve the minutes of the August 19, 1981 meeting with a correction on the motion of Tom Sullivan that Martin voted no on the motion. Voting: All members In favor. A motion by Martin to deny the special use application of Oswald Grimm, dated August 10, 1981 on Rush Lake died for lack of a second. Failed: A motion by Lachowltzer, second by Beck to approve the special use application of Oswald Grimm, dated August 10, 1981 on Rush Lake, No. 56- lAl, GD, Sec. 26 of Rush Lake Twp. to allow fill of 6 to 8 Inches from road ditch to dwelling. Applicant indicated that this was not acceptable to him. Passed: Voting; All members In favor. A motion by Estes, second by Petterson to approve the special use application of Rgy Wendorf. dated dune 16, 1981 on East Leaf Lake, No. 56-116, RD, Sec. 26 of Leaf Lake Twp. pending written approval from the Department of Natural Resources for area 200 feet by 200 feet. Voting; All members in favor.
