Thank you for the call of earlier today. As I promised during our conversation, I am including a
copy of our Shoreland Management Ordinance (SMO) with the applicable portions highlighted.
I am also including a checklist for “Cluster Developments” (your club is a cluster development
by definition).
The first step towards resolving this situation would be for you (as president) to take out after-
the-fact Site Permits (one each) for Mr. Bamum and Mr. Presl since they did have Conditional
Use Permits for exchanging their units.
The next step would be for you (as president) to make an appointment to visit with our
Administrator (Bill Kalar) concerning submitting a request for a (one) Conditional Use Permit to
allow Mr. Piotrowski and Mr. Hoffmann to exchange their units for the present ones. If the
request is granted by the Board of Adjustment, we will need you to take out after-the-fact Site
Permits (one each) for Mr. Piotrowski and Mr. Hoffmann.
I have included a set of forms for requesting ATF Site Permits for Mr. Bamum and Mr. Presl, as
well as a cluster development checklist and a copy of the Shoreland Management Ordinance for
your information.
Please contact Mr. Kalar by 15 April 00 to schedule your interview.
Please submit your ATF requests for Mr. Bamum and Mr. Presl by 20 May 00.
Once we issue Site Permits for the 4 units in question, all violations will be resolved.
