Please forward this message to the correct person if necessary. I have a camper at Ebert's Resort on Star Lake. My camper has a deck, porch, and shed that are all attached to it. In the past, we have been told that in the event that we want to replace our camper that our porch, deck, and shed all have to be removed. Is this still a current policy? There are several people at other campgrounds on the lake that have brought in new campers without having to remove these things from their lot. I would like to replace our camper but I don't want to lose the other things that are with it. If you (or whoever I should be talking to) could get back to me, I would appreciate it. Some of the guidelines we incorporated into the design are also highlighted in the attached preliminary floor plan designed by Josh Strand of Franklin Fence Co. Inc., Vergas, MN. In short, these are the main ADA features that will be built into the proposed structure: -There will be two wheelchair accessible routes into the structure and no stairs in the structure. -All hallways will be at least 36 inches wide, and all doors will be at least 32 inches wide. -Ail doors will open to at least 90 degrees, and there will be at least 18 inches of clearance on each side of all doorframes. -There will be at least 60 inches of depth clearance at each door. -All hardware (e.g., doorknobs/door handles, faucets, etc.) will be handicap accessible. -All door hardware will be 34-48 inches off the ground. -All floor and entryway surfaces will be stable, firm, and slip resistant. -In both bathrooms, there will be at least a 36x48 inch clearing beyond all doors for wheelchair accessibility. -There will be a clearance of 17-25 inches under all bathroom sinks for wheelchair accessibility. -There will be grab bars (36 inches above the ground) along the wall behind the toilets and along the sides of the toilets. Fifteen recreational travel campsites without water and sewage system Boat Rental, Live bait sales. Retail store. Heated Swimming pool. Motors, Nature Trail, It was issued on July 6, 1975 and I do not know if that runs through that date or not. Also w^ will have thirty travel trailer campsites with sewer, water and electrical hookups this year. I am sure Malcolm Lee can fill you in on our activities as my husband has talked with him several times. If there is somehting we should fill out, can you send it to us. If I do not have to renew until July 6, 197^, would you let me know. However, I am sure that the new hookups would mean an updated permit. All projects for the upgrade of the sewage system are going fine and we hope that other resorts in the area are all busy complying with the 1975 Standards for Shoreline, It is a very good law and I am glad it is being enforced. We all must do what we can to conserve the beauty of our state and county. We sure do love it up this way.
