We are going to discontinue Loghaven Resort which currently has
4 camper lots, 2 cabins and existing variances for 2 additional cabins.
We would like to separate the existing resort into 2 single family
residential lots.
At this time we are requesting a variance to split all of Lot 5 and
West 50’ of Lot 4 Block 2 from the existing resort property on Lake Lida.
Lot 6 Block 2 Ex Tracts on the Lake Lida side would be retained and
permanently attached to the West 50’ 86 East 50’ of Lot 6 Block 3 on the
Crystal Lake side.
On Lot 6 Block 3 of the Crystal Lake side we are asking for a
Variance of 65’ from the OHWL setback of 100’ and a Variance of 15’
from the shore impact zone in order to build a replacement dwelling at
35’ from the OHWL. The proposed residential dwelling would be no closer
to the lake than the existing cabin.
Also on Lot 6 Block 3 we are asking for a Variance to exceed the
25% impervious cover. The property at this time is at 66% impervious
cover and the proposed replacement dwelling would reduce the
impervious cover to approximately 45%. Lot 6 Block 2, on the Lake Lida
side, is our proposed drainfield site and would not have any additional
building on the lot.
