"ba.\ .Vr : JSS3 MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING DF THE BOARD OF COUNTV COMMISSIONERS OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA October 4, 1989 Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota met Wednesday, October 4, 1989. Chairman Nelson called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m., with all members present. Minutes of the September 27th meeting were approved as mailed upon motion made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unani mously carried. Marc Wermager appeared before the Board requesting compensation from Otter Tail County because his property was not included in the Otter Tail Lakes Area Sewer District for grant funds in the installation of a new sewage system. Motion was made by Mel 0. Olson, seconded by Bert Hovland and unanimously carried, to direct the County Attorney to research the allegations and report back to the Board as to the County's responsibilities. Henry Fischer appeared before the Board requesting an additional extension of time for the construction of a new road by Fair Hills Resort on Lake Five. Bert Hovland and unanimously carried, to grant extension in said con struction until November 1 , 1989 for the back portion of the road near Lake Five, allowing until November 15, 1989, for the completion of the entire project, with final approval by the Land & Resource Management office. A letter from Margaret Lindeberg was presented to the board, indica ting a desire to donate Lots 41 & 42, Oak Point, together with lake frontage, as a memorial park to the donors'ancestors who settled the area in 1872. Motion was made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Andy Lindquist and unanimously carried, to refer the offer to the County At.^rnpv and land & Resource Management to check on the feasibility. Motion was made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unanimously carried, authorizing Beske and Commis sioner Hovland research and make a determination as to replacement. ! •sI,f' County Board - 3 -August 9, 1989 Upon motion made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Bert Hovland and carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tall County Minnesota, that WHEREAS, on July 10, 1989, the County Board accepted the bid of N.H. Snider Const. Co., Slayton, MN in the amount of $178,821.25 for construction of Bridge #56529, under S.A.P. 56-601-27, WHEREAS the above contract has now been completed to the satisfaction of the County Board at a total cost of $179,194.65, an increase of $373.40 due to supplemental agreement and change order, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Auditor is hereby authorized and instructed to issue a warrant in the amount of $8,959.73 payable to N.H.
