Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Mel 0. Olson and unani
mously carried, to approve a preliminary plat of Boe's Beach, First
Addition, to be located in Sections 30 and 31 of Dunn Township.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren to grant approval of the two to four
foot cut requested by Ross Stone, Girard Township, on the condition
it is drained away from the lake, permit denied by the planning com
mission with no reason for the denial. The motion was seconded by
Bert Hovland but failed with Commissioners Nelson, Olson and Lindquist
voting "no". Motion was then made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy
Lindquist and unanimously carried, to refer the request back to the
Planning Commission for review
Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy Lindquist and unani
mously carried, to table action on the denial by the Planning Commis
Sion conditional use permit of Terry & Sharon Bennett, for 20 camping
sites, bath house, boat access and removal of ice ridge in G.L. 9,
Section 8, Hobart Township, until 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 29th.

lOMESTEAD CLASSIFICATION Erwin Siems, County Assessor, appeared before the Board reporting
seventeen individuals did not respond to the request Required by
Minnesota Statutes to obtain social security numbers on homesteaded
property. Motion was made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Mel 0. Olson
and unanimously carried, to support Siems action as required in Minn.
Statutes to return the properties of the non-respondents to non
homestead classification.

Commission meeting a motion was passed to deny your conditional use
application as presented, reason being lack of adequate lakeshore frontage
to justify additional cabins.
The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners will consider this application

conditional use application of Terry Bennett. Rose Lake, 56-
360, RD, on Ft. of G.L. 9, Section 8 of Hobart Township as
presented, recognizing previous actions of the Planning
Commission and the position of the Hobart Townboard. Darlene
Carlisle and Oirville Carlisle expressed some concerns against
the request.

application of James Kimple. Dead Lake, 56-383, NE, on Lillis
Survey Plat in G.L. 2 - known as Lot G, Section 8 of Dead Lake
Township as presented reason being lack of adequate lakeshore
to justify additional cabins,
represented the applicant.

A motion by Stringer, second by Trites to approve the
conditional use application of Wesley H. Gray, Stalker Lake,
56-437, RD, in G.L. 4, Section 27 of Tordenskjold Township to
build a road so that no part of the road is closer to the lake
than 225'; may terminate the road at the westerly end where he
wishes and there must be a cul-de-sac built to county
specifications; the easterly end of the road must abut the
existing road. There is not any approval granted for
excavation of a walkout basement.

Voting; All members in favor.
A motion by Petterson, second by Femling to approve the
conditional use application and preliminary plat of Arnold &
Agnes Boe, Boes's Beach First Addition, Lake Lizzie, 56-760,
RD, in G. L. 5, Section 30 and G.L. 8, Section 31 of Dunn
Township as presented. Terry Anderson, surveyor represented
the applicants.
