On April 6, 1995, you asked office staff about the possibility of replacing
an existing triplex with a manufactured home. Your question was referred to
me for a response which is the purpose of this letter.

Please be advised that Sec.IV.11.A. of Otter Tail County's Shbreland
Management Ordinance (copy enclosed) requires that whenever a change in
number, size or type of dwelling unit is proposed, a new Conditional Use
Permit must be obtained by the property owner. Therefore, in order for you
to make your requested change in type of unit you would be required to apply
for and be granted a Conditional Use Permit.
The chance of this approval may be complicated by your intention not to
.continue the operation of your resort. This is due to the fact that if you
cease operation, then your property must be considered as "single family
residence" (Sec.III.2.) which means only one dwelling unit onsite is
permitted (Sec.V.l.B.).;
