Don Gladscxi, President of Otter Tail Country Tourism, appeared before the Board relative to appropriations for the year 1987. No formal action talcen. CANNISTER LOCATION I-OMITORS OTTER TAIL COUNTRY TOURISM A request for funds in the amount of $2,597.00 was received frcm Minnesota Heartland, Brainerd, vdiich was denied upon motion made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Andy Lindquist and unanimously carried. George Walter, Ditch Viewer, appeared before the Board relative to County Ditch #21, stating vdien the viewers submitted their report, it was correct at the time; however with the change in conditions since then, it could be different at present. Larry Krohn, County Coordinator, reported on the Ackling Building in Perham recently purchased and various uses of unfinished portions of the building, for the nursing service, land & resource and the Perham police department. Krohn and Mike Kirk were instructed to research and report back to the Bocurd on the 13th of November. Clitherall Lake, No. 56-238, RD, in G.L. 2 of Clitherall Township for an additional 23 units to be used as seen fit (would include the lodge and residence), must include the Shoreland Management Ordinance requirements including a 50 foot buffer zone and a road that meets the county specifications, can not add any additional docks (except in the lagoon area) and must eliminate the 2 existing campsites. Milt Paulson spoke to the commission. Approved; Voting,: All members in favor. Craig Kerkow. Lake Lida, No. 56-747, was not present at the hearing, therefore the conditional use application is tabled until December 3, 1986. Stuart Lake, No. 56-192, RD, on Outlot B of Maple Acres, Section 39 of Girard Township for any grading or filling for a building site, except as necessary to cause surface drainage at the building site to run away from the lake. Denied; Voting; All members in favor. No Action: The commission discussed a preapplication of Roger Ophus and a possible preliminary plat on West Battle Lake, No. 56-239. formal action was taken.
