Recreational units (campsites) for a resort on Dead Lake (56-383).RE:
Dear Mr. McCurdy:
Once again we have received an inquiry regarding the number of campsites you
maintain at your resort. As you may recall, last year this question arose
and at that time a review of the records indicated that you had county
approval for 8 campsites.
A check of your 1986 resort license indicated that you maintain 12 campsites
which is in excess of the number of campsites of which you have proper
approval. Since this is the case, you should discontinue the use of 4 of
the campsites immediately and at no time should the number of campsites at
your resort exceed 8 units until you get county approval for an expansion.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact our office.

Dear Mr. McCurdy:
Currently 1 am reviewing the records on file here in the courthouse
regarding the number of permitted recreational units within resorts. I find
a discrepancy between the number of units you are currently licensed for
(12) and the number of units which have been approved by Otter Tail County
(8).
On or before August 16, 1985, please provide our office with the following
information:
1)the date you expanded your resort from 8 recreational units to 12
recreational units and
2) under what authority did this expansion occur.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter please contact our
office.
