The gas heaters burn outside air and are very safe. No air conditioning is needed. We have many windows and breeze. —Fishing has been good the past years — a guide on the lake is available and June fishing is best. The lake is stocked yearly with walleye fry and fingerlings. Boats on Lake Five are available for Fair Hills guests. —Large supply of all size life jackets — no charge. —18 new 6 HP motors — See rental fees on page 11. — Bring your own boat — we have one free launching ramp, ade­ quate for small boats, with two super launching ramps on Pelican Lake — fee $1.00. Five free anchoring buoys. First come, first serve. — Pelican Lake is a very large lake of 4,300 acres. We are located in the smaller eastern end of the lake on a bay approximately 1 mile by 2 miles. Fish Lake, 280 acres, and Little Pelican Lake, 390 acres, adjoin and can be reached by boat via the Pelican River. — Pelican Lake is a clean, deep lake (depth to 70 feet) with a sandy bottom. There are no dropoffs and you can swim any place in front of our shoreline. For your convenience in swimming and boating, we have eight docks of varying size. —Babysitters are available at all times. $1.50 per hour or weekly rates are available. Check with your waiter or waitress. —Most facilities are free, including tennis and golf. We ask that you golf in a foursome or less. No starter on the course, just go out and play as many or as few holes as you want. For a quick five holes, try 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 if the course isn't crowded. Sign up sheets are necessary most weeks for the tennis courts. — Payment...personal check is acceptable. We have facilities for the American Express card ONLY. —All six resilient-surfaced tennis courts are free to guests at all times. Look for the blue Fair Hills sign at this intersection. Stay on County 31 for two miles, and then turn left when you come to Coun­ ty No. 20. One more mile brings you to Fair Hills, so we are about 3 miles off Highway No. 59.
