Market Price for the Solid Waste Management Tax Otter Tail County Resolution No. 98 - 63 UPON a motion by Nelson, second by Stone and unanimously carried, the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners adopts the following resolution: WHEREAS, the solid waste management tax requires political subdivisions to identify by resolution a market price if the political subdivision: Subsidizes the cost of service at a facility. WHEREAS, the market price is identified in state statutes as the “lowest price available in the area”. This is 150' from property line - on west end we wish to do the same for 100' . The bank is 2' high and would slope back for 10'. REASONS: 1. No beach at all for most of 1998. A judge issued permission for Cormorant Lake to dump its excess water into Pelican Lake. We had a lot of sod and black dirt pulled into the lake by waves this past year. Having sand instead of sod will prevent this. 2. We have rocks along a lot of shoreline, but need some area to pull up paddle boats, kayaks, sailboats, rowboats and for small children's play.
