to table your application for special use until proper
drawings, proper setbacks, buffer area and other

Meeting of the Otter Tall County Planning Commission was held on June 15, 1977
at 7:30 P.M. In the Court House, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537,
Members present were: Beck, Portroann, Davis, Estes, Lenlus, Ryan, Nordgren,
and Lee. Bernard Bodlen also present.
A motion by Portmann, second by Beck to approve the minutes of the
June 1, 1977 meeting as mailed.
Passed:
Voting: All members In favor.
A motion by Lenlus, second by Lee to table the variance application
of Oliver London, dated April 4, 1977 on Eagle Lake, No. 56-253,
GD, Sec. 11 of Eagle Lake Twp.
Passed:
Voting: All members In favor.
Nr. Edward Lange appeared before the Commission on Sliver Lake, No. 56-302,
RD, Sec. 28 of Everts Township and was encouraged to proceed with formal pro
cedures for a special use permit for five (5) recreational sites, and the
possibility of ten (10) sites If sufficient frontage is secured.
No action was taken on the pre-application for Robert Skillings on Sybil Lake
as the applicant did not appear.
A motion by Beck, second by Estes to table the special use application
of Elk's Point on Wall Lake, No. 56-658, GD, Sec,9 of Dane Prairie Twp,
until proper drawings and proper setback, buffer and other specifica
tions are met. Stan Fedders represented the applicant.

Voting: All members in favor.
Passed:A motion by Beck, second by Davis to deny the cutting of the Ice
ridge and hill because of danger of erosion and aesthetics, but to
approve fill behind ice ridge no higher than 1 foot below apex of
ice ridge; to be sodded Immediately for C. A. Brandll, dated May 23,
1977 on East Silent Lake, No. 56-517, Sec. 33 of Dora Twp.
Voting: All members in favor.
Passed:A motion by Davis, second by Lenlus to deny the application for
special use of Jim Lampy, dated May 24, 1977 on Opperman Lake,
No. 56-865. Sec. 26 of Fergus Falls Twp. as questionable Jurisdiction.
Thomas Halllsey spoke to the Commission.
