Subdivision Plat with 2 lots. No proposed structures, roads, drives, topographical alterations, signs, driveways, or lighting on either lot. The existing and proposed use for the subject property is non-residential, commercial use. Carl Malmstrom (Attorney representing the Beaton Family), spoke in favor of the request, confirming Mr. Manthe’s concern that Lida Township has not adopted a Subdivision Ordinance should be taken into consideration. Motion: A motion by Trites, second by Wass to deny removal of the condition placed on Conditional Use Permit #6938 as requested by the Applicant; approving this request would be inconsistent with the Planning Commission’s longstanding expectations that Applicants work with local road authorities to be sure they meet their legitimate construction standards.
