Otter Tail County Planning Commissioners, We would like to let the board know that our intention is to downsize our resort from 28 sites to 13 sites. The 13 sites would consist of 6 cabins, 6 RV sites and our main residence. We are eliminating 15 sites from our original 28. We believe this would also help in reducing the density factor and impact on the lake. Our goal is to allow those that booked from last summer to enjoy the area one last time. Since we are removing so many sites, some families would not be able to come back imless they were able to change their vacation time. On or about October 2013,1 would start removing the plumbing, sewer, and electric from those areas on the map that are being eliminated (see attached map). At that time, I would also start to remove the 3 cabins west of the main house and east of the property line for the new plat. Because of the weather being unpredictable during the fall, I would ask for sufficient time in order to get it done. My hope is to have them moved as a whole unit since they are almost 90 years old and made of logs. If not, they will be dissembled by hand.
