Motion was made by Bert Olson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve
construction of a 22' by 36' cabin with an attached screen porch on the side of the cabin instead
of the front of the cabin and with the condition that the new cabin will be no closer to the lake
than the existing cabin less the screen porch.

Dunn's 59 Limited, Robert E. Bergquist. President, Boca Grande, FL. requested a variance to
enclose a 2nd story deck area on the Dunvilla Supper Club building. Applicant plans to convert
the Dunvilla Supper Club building into a four plex condominium. The property is located
between Minnesota Highway 59 and the Pelican River, except that part designated as Dunvilla
Villas. Section 20 of Dunn Township on the Pelican River. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson,
seconded by Cecil Femllng and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested
subject to the action of the Planning Commission later this month.
^^aker's Bonnie Beach Resort, Douglas L. Baker - Approved
Baker's Bonnie Beach Resort. Douglas L. Baker. Battle Lake. MN, requested a variance to remove
an existing 18' by 35' cabin with a H' by 18' second story and a 7' by 16' screen porch and
replace it with a one level 22' by 36' cabin having a 7' by 16' screen porch. The new structure
will meet the new disability law standards. The new structure will be located 27' from the
ordinary high water level and the 7' by 16' screen porch will be located 20' from the ordinary
high water level. The property is described as part of Government Lots 3 and 4, Section 11 of
Clitherall Township on Clitherall Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or
against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Bert Olson, seconded by John
Everts and unanimously carried, to approve construction of a 22' by 36' cabin with an attached
screen porch on the side of the cabin instead of the front of the cabin and with the condition that
the new cabin will be no closer to the lake than the existing cabin less the screen porch.
William E. Martinson - Approved
William E. Martinson, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 45' from the required ordinary high
water level setback of 100' for the construction of a utility structure. The property is
described as Lot 1 1, Tonseth Heights, Tonseth Lake in Friberg Township. 4he audience was
polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by
Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to grant a variance to allow
the applicant to start construction of a 24' by 26' structure 20' from the road right of way.
Darrell and Patricia Warne - ApprovedJ
Darrell and Patricia Warne. Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 20' from the required ordinary
high water level setback of 100' for the construction of a year round dwelling. The property is
described as Lot 13, Cousin's Beach in Dora Township. Letters in favor of the granting of this
variance request were read from the following individuals: Mike and Carol McCarthy, Kenneth
M. Strandberg, John and Diane Rogne and Kent and Carol Meader. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to allow the applicant to build up to
either the string line test or the 100' setback.
