RE: Meeting on 18 August 06 concerning violation #2456 issued against parcel
#56000040016000 (Galaxy Resort)
Sir:
This letter is intended to provide a synopsis of the discussion points brought forth during
the subject meeting. You were presented with the following choices of action;
1. Do nothing and let this issue go to legal proceedings.
2. Remove the substandard structure and RV’s from the property.
3. Reduce the number of RV’s to a maximum of 4, locate them at least 37 14 feet
from the high water mark of the lake, remove water service from them, and
purchase an “after the fact” site permit for the roofed deck structure.
4. Petition the County Board of Adjustment for a variance to leave the RV’s in their
present position (after the fact) and also petition the County Planning Commission
for a change to your Conditional Use Permit to allow for more than 4 RV’s to be
on site.
You may have until 5 Sept 06 to present us with your preferred course of action and
when you feel that you can complete any actions/requirements on your part.
I am enclosing sets of the appropriate forms for each of the above choices for your
possible use.
