Phelps Mill Foundation Repair Deputy Administrator Nick Leonard shared with the Board that in 2017, Barr Engineering Co. designed repairs for the Phelps Mill building foundations and prepared drawings and specifications for bidding and construction. At that time, funding was not secured to proceed with the foundation repairs. Earlier this fall. Otter Tail County did secure a grant in the amount of $275,500 from the Minnesota Historical Society for the foundation repairs. As a result, the County needs to update the agreement with Barr Engineering Co. to reflect their involvement and scope of work on the project's foundation repairs. Motion by Murphy, second by Mortenson and unanimously carried to authorize appropriate County Officials' signatures to execute the agreement between Otter Tail County and Barr Engineering Co. Perham to Pelican Rapids Regional Trail - Engineering Amendment Motion by Johnson, second by Murphy and unanimously carried to approve the amendment to the current fee for engineering and right of way services by Houston Engineering and WSBas presented by the Deputy County Administrator.
