Ashworth, (Mark Sand & Gravel) discussed with the CommissionDon
Austin Korby's (Pelican River) denied Conditional Use Application
of July 5, 1969 and the possibility of a Reapplication.
Discussion;
The Commission passed a motion by Trites, second by Ackley to
advise Mr. Ashworth that we would reconsider our previous
recommendation if the MPCA would certify the fill in question as
"clean fill*.
Motion;
Voting: All members in favor.
A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Schwartz to adjourn the meeting at 8:20
P.M. and set April 4, 1990 as the Commission's next meeting date.

Site Location Barky's Resort is approximateiy 25
minutes NE of Fergus Falls on Otter
Tail County Rd. ^1.It can also be
reached from 1-94 at the Ashby exit
by taking Hwy. 78 North through
Battle Lake, then County Rd. 72 to the
SW Shore of Otter Tail Lake.Traveling
distance from Fargo, ND, is about
75 minutes.The location is well
situated for prevailing winds, is
sheltered by mature trees and is
serviced by well miiintained paved
highway.
Legal Description
An undivided one-half interest in That part of Government Lots 2 and 3,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 30 of Pleasant Grove, thence
south along the public highway a distance of 400 feet, thence East at
right angles to the shore of Otter Tail Lake, thence northerly along
the shore of Otter Tail Lake, to a point erist of the place of beginning,
thence west to the place of beginning, all located in Section 32,
Township 134, Range 40, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. The southerly
line of said tract being parallel with the south line of said Lot 30.

Thirty-four (134) North, Range Forty (40) West, Otter Tail County, Minnesota,

Commencing at the Southwest (SW) corner of Government Lot One (1) in said

the center line of the Otter Tail County Highwciy 865.4 feet; thence South
One (1) degree East, on said Highway center line 629.9 feet to the point of
beginning, said described point of beginning being 230.3 feet South I East
of the intersection of the Westerly extension of the South line of Lot Thirty
(30) in Pleasant Grove, a recorded plat, with the center line of the county
highway, as now located;
Thence West 211 Feet; Thence South 169.3 Feet; Thence East 214
Feet to the center line of said highway; Thence North 1 West
on said highway center line to the point of beginning:
and continuing 0.826 of an acre more or less. Said described tract is subject to
an appurtenant right-of-way by the Otter Tail County Highway Department for
highway purposes, as now located, and running along the Easterly line of the
