Conditional Use Permit - Leaf Lake Partnership:
Motion by Froemming, second by Lee, to approve a Conditional Use Permit to park a 15' travel
trailer on the property and place 2 bunkbeds in the utility building with conditions as recommended
by the Planning Commission. The property is described as Part of Government Lot 2, Section 23
of Leaf Lake Township: East Leaf Lake (56-116). Motion carried.
Conditional Use Permit - Rush Lake Township
Motion by Froemming, second by Nelson, to approve a Conditional Use Permit to rebuild a
township road with conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission. The propery is
described as Rush Lake Township Road - 447**’ Ave (Buchanan Lake Public Access), Section 35
of Rush Lake Township: Buchanan Lake (56-209). Motion carried.
Conditional Use Permit - Steven & Grace H. Moie:
Motion by Mosher, second by Nelson, to approve a Conditional Use Permit, as presented, to utilize
a studio for photographic portraits under the business name of Northern Star Studio. The property
is described as Pt. of GL 7 & of GL 8, Section 19 of Leaf Mountain Township: Spitzer Lake
(56-160). Motion carried.

A Conditional Use Permit Application to divide property into two separate tax parcels and
vacate RV Sites 1 & 2. Wish to construct single family dwelling on vacated sites and
construct 15’ wide drive (500’ drive) to same. Both parcels to be operated as Cluster
Developments as in the past. The property is described as Gov Lots 1 & 2 in Section 17
of Hobart Township: Rose Lake (56-360), RD.
Roland & Barbara Olson represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Schwartz, second by Maske to approve provided: 1. All cluster
development setbacks are met. 2. The road is located such that it does not impact the
wetland.

Wesley Tweeton - Approve As Presented:
A Conditional Use Permit Application to use my building and land for operating my
construction business. Will not be an open business, just a headquarters for Tweeton
Construction. The property is described as Crystal Hills 5*^ Addition Auditor’s Subdivision
Tract 9 Ex Tr, Section 11 of Lida Township: Crystal Lake (56-749), RD.
Wesley & Joan Tweeton represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Sha, second by Lachowitzer to approve as presented.
Break: At 8:10 P.M., the Commission took a 10 minute break.
Alovsius Quick (Easement Holder) - Tabled To August 9. 2000 :
A Conditional Use Permit Application to construct a 1,000’ driveway, details available at
Land & Resource Management. The property owner is Walter Doric. The property is
described as Pt SE14 SE% & Pt GL 9 and Lot 9 & S14 SE% Ex Tr in Section 34 of Maine
Township: Sharp Lake (56-482), NE.
May 10. 2000 Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Maske to table (with the Applicant’s
approval) to June 14, 2000, to allow a revised plan to be presented to the Commission
for their review.
June 14. 2000 Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Lachowitzer to table the request to
July 12, 2000 as requested by the Applicant.
Bill Kalar read a letter from Kristian Svingen (Attorney representing the Applicant)
requesting to be tabled to August 9, 2000 as the landowners have not yet resolved this
matter.
Motion - Withdrawn - A motion by Lachowitzer to deny the request as this was initially
considered on May 10, 2000 and there has been sufficient time for the Applicant(s) to
resolve the matter. The motion died for a lack of a second.
Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Boyer to table to the August 9, 2000 meeting as
requested.
