The proposed septic systems are too close to wetlands. 2. The buildable area on Lot 2 Block 2 is marginal for the type of construction we currently see. 3. The cul-de-sac is substandard, 120' radius is required. 4. Lot 1 Block 2 is unattached and does not meet the minimum lot size requirement. 5. The requested fill in the area of the Mclain property may adversely affect the Mclain property. 6. The required 50’ right-of-way for CSAH #31 is not met. 7. There are sight distance issues that need to be addressed at the point where the proposed road intersects with CSAH #31. Voting: All Members in favor. Break: At 8:25 P.M., the Commission took a 12 minute break. North Shore Addition/Terrv & Mary Karkala/KW Properties - Tabled to December. 2004: A Preliminary Plat of "North Shore Addition" consisting of 3 single family residential lots, 1 block. Constructed to County specifications, to service “Ratz Lakeview Division”. A Preliminary Plat titled "Rate Lakeview Division” consisting of 15 single family residential lots, 2 blocks. The property is described as Pt GL 2, 3 & 4, Section 19 of Hobart Township; Long Lake (56-388), RD. October 13, 2004 - Motion: A motion by Maske, second by Boyer to table, at the Applicant’s request, to November 10, 2004 to allow Applicant to: 1) Revise the Plat with conforming lot sizes. 2) Pursue with MN DOT the possibility of a loop to eliminate the cul-de-sac. All required material must be received by the Land and Resource Management Office no later than October 22, 2004, Leo Ratz & Sharon Ratz and Scott Walz (Meadowland Surveying) represented the Application. Motion: A motion by Boyer, second by Maske to approve as presented as the proposal meets the minimum requirements. Voting: All Members in favor. Additional Action: Loren & Anna Remmick, Pickeral Lake (56-475); Bill Kalar discussed with the Commission a letter (dated November 3, 2004) and two drawings (Exhibit #1 & Exhibit #2) from the Remmick’s requesting clarification on their approval. After some discussion, the direction of the Planning Commission was that the motion matches Exhibit #1 (see file). Herb’s Ridge / Herbert & Arlene Wilschewski, Long Lake (56-388): Bill Kalar discussed with the Commission the motion for the dedicated road requiring the right-of-way extend to the property line. He indicated that the surveyors have requested that the road not be dedicated to the lotline. After some discussion, the consensus of the Commission was to follow the original motion. December Meeting - Changed to December 15, 2004: David Trites requested the December Meeting be held December 15, 2004, as he is unavailable on December 8, 2004. The Commission agreed to this request, therefore there will not be a meeting on December O'”.
