(8:00 p.m.) Dewayne Ludwig, Et Al., Lot 16.Jacobs Beach First Addition, Prairie Lake in Pelican Township, requested a’.variance to install a lift station and a drain field in that part of the dedicated road that is outline on the map submitted with the application. The area.proposed for sewer installation is currently outside of all road beds. We will need to cross .Jacobs Beach Trail with one insulated sewer line from septic tank on Lot 16 to proposed drain field area in road right-” of-way. The applicant’s daughter and brother appeared with the applicant at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. A letter from Pelican Township identifying the status of the existing roads in this immediate area was read for the record. After consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to install a lift station and a drain field in that .part of the dedicated road as outline on the drawing submitted with the variance application. Albert and Lois Thiel and Darrel and Kathy Pederson - Approved the variance as requested with conditions. (8:05 p.m.) Albert and Lois Thiel and Darrel and.Kathy Pederson, part of Government Lot 5, Section 1 of Sverdrup Township by East Lost Lake, requested the following: We wish to transfer ownership of a 66’ by 85’ tract of land on the southern end of a 1.26 acre, ingress/egress easement in Jensen’s Beach on East Lost Lake, an unrecorded plat. The transfer would be to the adjacent property owner. Request a variance to subdivide an existing 1.26 acre tract (road). The proposed 66’ by 85’ tract to be permanently attached to Parcel 57-000-01-0003-006, owned .by Jerry and Sandra Lein. Jerry Lein was also in attendance at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested with the following conditions:, 1.) the impervious surface coverage calculation for the Jerry and Sandra Lein property must be calculated in the same manner as it would have . been calculated prior to obtaining this additional 66’ by 85’ tract and 2.) a register surveyor’s drawing must-be provided at the time of conveyance. Roger and Betty Mickelson - Approved the variance as requested. (8:15 p.m.) Roger and Betty Mickelson, Lot 1 Block 3 Hill and Vale Acres, Ten Mile Lake in Tumuli Township, requested the following: Change Lot 1 Block 3 of Hill and Vale Acres from a non-buildable lot to a residential buildable lot. The, audience was polled, with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to declare Lot 1 Block 3 of Hill and Vale Acres as a buildable lot for residential purposes. It was noted that the variance as granted is consistent with other variances which have been granted in this immediate area and the granting of the variance as requested will provide' the applicants with an ability to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in this immediate area. . Raymond and Katherine Kvalvog - Approved the variance as requested with condition. (8:18 p.m.) Raymond and Katherine Kvalvog, part of Lot 16 Henry’s Hill, Franklin Lake in Dunn Township, requested a variance of 41’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the construction of garage’59’ from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration, Robert Schwartz made a motion, second-by Carl Zick and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 41 ’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the construction of a 20’ by 30’ gairage 59.^ from the ordinary high water level as depicted on the drawing submit with the variance application with the condition that no more than 25% of the total eligible lot area can be cover with impervious surfaces. Practical difficulty/hardship is a substandard lot of record. .
