Lida Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request.
Letters in favor of the applicant's request, from Timothy and Beverly Terhurne and Jean
and Jane McNabb, were read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by
Randall Mann,' seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as
requested as no adequate hardship had been shown and the applicant has adequate space to
place a 10' by 20' car port at least 10' from the side lot line.

from the required shore impact zone setback of 37.5' for the construction of a 12' by 24'
2 story- addition to an existing cabin approximately 19' from the ordinary high water
level. The property is described as part of Lot 3, Ballard's Cozy Bay, Pelican Lake in
Dunn Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request.
After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Cecil Femling and
unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as ^he amount of the total lot area,
covered by impervious surfaces greatly exceeds, by tod large of a margin, the 25X rule as
allowed by the ordinance.

Mitchell Emil Potocki, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of approximately 6' from the
required side lot line, setback of'40' and a variance of approximately 5' from the required .
ordinary high water level setback of 20' for the construction of a 10' by 12' deck, with
bench, rail and an enclosed bottom for storage,, being 34' from the side lot line, ,15' from
the ordinary high water level and within the bluff impact zone. The property is described
as Lot 9, Block 1, Otter Tail Lakeview Heights, Otter Tail Lake in. Otter Tail Township.
The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the'request. After
consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling,. seconded by John Everts and unanimously
carried, to deny the variance-as requested as no adequate hardship had been shown. It was
noted that if the variance would have been granted the structure would have been within
■the bluff impact zone.
