Fergus Falls, Minnt IX MINUTES or THE MEETING OF THEOTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT March 1. 1990 The Otter Tall County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, March 1, 1990 with the following persons in attendance: Craig Anderson John Everts Carl Johnson Daniel Oehler Victor Petterson George Walter Tim Greip, Land & Resource Management Barbara Hanson, Assistant County Attorney The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., with the first order of business being the selection of Chairman and Vice Chairman for the year. Motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by John Everts, to nominate George Walter as Chairman for 1990. Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson and car­ ried, that nominations cease and the secretary cast a unanimous ballot for George Walter.as Chairman. Chairman Walter then called for nominations for Vice Chairman. Motion was made by Craig Aderson, seconded by Victor Petterson to select John Everts as Vice Chairman for 1990. Motion was then made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Daniel Oehler arid carried, that nominations cease and the secretary was instructed to cast a unanimous ballot for John Everts for Vice Chairman. CALL TO ORDER CHAIRMAN - WALTER VICE CHAIRMAN - EVERTS The following variance requests were heard: Lela Ann Beckman, Clitherall, MN, requested permission to rebuild a light house that had deteriorated on Parcels L & M, G.L. 8, Section 6, Nidaros Township on Clitherall Lake. Appearing and speaking to the issue were Jim Swenson, Anne Eidsvold, with a letter from Bob & Ann Reckert being read. After consideration, motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, with John Everts abstaining, to approve construction, on the condition the adjacent fish cleaning house be removed, and construction of the structure not to include sliding glass doors and not to be used as a dwelling. "Joseph Wambach, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to erect a garage to the rear of the property up to the property line, on Lot 12, Pelican Bay Shores, Dunn Township, on Fish Lake. After consider­ation, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, Carl JOhnson absent during vote, to grant approval, hard­ ship being terrain. David C. Wodrich, Frazee, MM, requested permission to convey two par­ cels of 1.54 acres and 2.11 acres, out of a 6.8 acre parcel, in Section 3, Edna Township on Little McDonald Lake, for attachment to platted lake lots. After consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to grant approval, making smaller lots larger in size, retaining undeveloped land from further development, applicant to submit a drawing by a registered land surveyor.
