Motion
James B and Paulette A Dew - Approved the variance as requested with a condition. (7:15 p.m.)
After additional consideration and discussion, Randall Mann made a motion, seconded by Michael Conlon and carried
with Paul Larson voting no, to approve a variance of 48’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’, a
variance of 4’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 5’ from the required road right-of-way
setback of 20’ for the lifting of the first floor of the present 34’ by 24’ dwelling and for the addition of a new first floor
(Option 1 Part A) located 52’ from the ordinary high water level and 6’ from the north side lot line and for the
placement of a 20’ by 24’ garage 6’ from the side lot line and 15’ from the road right-of-way with the following
conditions: 1.) the existing 9’ by 10’ storage building must be removed prior to the issuance of a site permit for the
proposed development; 2.) the ingress and egress area^to the garage-must^be either a gravel or grass surface to
provide for absorption, 3.) the applicants can have a 2’ wide apron in front of the garage, and 4.) impervious surface
areas outlined in the application for removal and as depicted on the applicants’ drawing labeled present “Lot Layout”
