Squires, Perham, MN, requested a variance of 1' from the 18' maximum height requirement of a non-dwelling structure for an existing 36' by 56' structure having a height of 19'. The property is described as part of Government Lots 3 and 4, Section 13 of Rush Lake Township on Rush Lake. Marvin Hexum represented the applicant at the hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 1' variance from the 18' maximum height requirement of a non­ dwelling structure for an existing 36' by 56' structure having a height of 19'. It was noted that the structure does not contain a second story and that the structure will be used for the storage of farm machinery. Michael N. Johnson - Denied Michael N. Johnson and Roscoe Herseth, Pelican Rapids, MN requested a variance of 6.5' from the required side lot line setback of 10' for the construction of a 22' by 26' garage 3.5' from the side lot line. The property is described as Lot 6, Ripples Beach, Franklin Lake in Dunn Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship had been shown. Walter Duane Rose - Approved Walter Duane Rose, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance of 4' from the 18' maximum height requirement of a non-dwelling structure for the construction of a 42' by 56' pole storage building having 14' sidewalls and an overall height of 22'. The property is described as Government Lots 3 and 4, part of Government Lot 2 and part of the NWl/4 SEl/4, Section 4 of Aurdal Township on Mud Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by George Walter and unanimously carried to approve a variance of 4' from the 18' maximum height requirement of a non-dwelling structure for the construction of a 42' by 56' pole storage building having 14' sidewalls and an overall height of 22'. It was noted by the applicant that the structure was intended for farm usage. Clarice H. Lacey - Denied ■ Clarice M. Lacey, Campbell, MN, requested a variance of 140' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200' and a variance of 40' from the required shore impact zone setback of 100' for the location of a 14' by 14' hunting shack 60' from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as the North 2 rods of SEl/4 NEl/4 and the North 2 rode of the East 2 rods of the SWl/4 NEl/4, Section 6 of Eagle Lake Township on an unnamed lake. David and Becky Koplin represented the applicant at the hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship had been shown and other suitable sites exist on the applicant's property that would allow the applicant a reasonable use of the property.
