The property is described as part of ■ Government Lot 4, Section 27 of Lida Township by Lake Lida. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Mark Steuart and unanimously carried, to table the applicants’ request until the September 13, 2001 meeting to allow an opportunity for the applicants to consider a plan that would keep the proposed structure out of the shore impact zone. Robert and Margaret Williams - Approved with conditions. Robert and Margaret Williams, Schaumburg, IL, requested a variance of 40’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for the replacement of a 24' by 27’ cabin with a 30’ by 30’ dwelling 35’ from the ordinary high water level. The applicants will be removing the boathouse, the shed and the bunkhouse. The applicants also proposed the construction of a 12’ by 20’ garage, which will meet all of the required setbacks. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 6’ from the required road right-of-way setback of 20’ for the location of an 8’ by 12’ tool shed 14’ from the road right-of- way. It was noted that the township has approved the location and that if the shed was placed 20’ from the road right-of-way it would impact the view from the adjoining property. Doyle and Henrietta Kargel - Approved with condition. Doyle and Henrietta Kargel, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested a variance to “move the west boundary Jine of parcel #17000170232000, east approximately 46 feet, which would subtract 0.13 acres from the existing o.64 acres to equal 0.51 acres remaining. The 0.13 acres would be added to parcel #17000170232006 to equal 1.06 acres more or less. The reason for requesting a variance to move the boundary is to include an existing water well which was intended to be on parcel #17000170232006 to furnish water to that cabin site."
