Lamb, Horace, ND, requested a variance of 9' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75' for the construction of a 20' by 26' addition to an existing structure 66' from the ordinary high water level and a variance of 19' from, the required ordinary high water level setback of 75' for the construction cf a 10' by 36' deck, to the front side of an existing structure, 56' from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as Lot 1, First Addition to Pelican Lake Park, Pelican Lake in Dunn Township. Jim Anderson, Contractor, appeared along with the applicant at- the public -hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Harm, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 9' from the required ordinary high water level setback, of 75' for the construction of a 20' by 26' addition to an existing structure 65' from the ordinary high water, level and a variance of 19' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75' for the construction of a 10' by 32' deck, to the front side of an existing structure, 56' from the ordinary high water level with the condition that no other water- oriented accessory structures can be placed in front of the dwelling. No precedent will be established in the immediate area by the granting of the variance request.
