Motion was made by Randall Mann, second by Steve Schierer and carried with Cecil Femling and Mark Steuart voting
no, to approve a variance of IT from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’, a variance of 27’ from the
required shore impact zone setback of 50’ and a variance of 3’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the
construction of a 24’ by 36’ garage addition 7’ from the side lot line and 23’ from the ordinary high water level and a
variance of 46’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for a 16’ by 22’ kitchen dining addition 54’
from the ordinary high water level of the man made inlet with the condition that before a site permit can be issued the
existing garage and foundation must be removed. It was noted that the proposed garage addition would have the
same height as the present dwelling. It was also noted that the proposed width of the garage is a reasonable request.
It addition, it was noted that many of the properties within this immediate area are within the shore impact zone.
