One parcel would be a minimum of 80,000 sq. ft. and be owned by Steven Henry. The other parcel would be approximately 37,600 sq. ft., and it would be deeded to James Henry, who already owns the land immediately adjoining the leftover 37,600 sq. ft. James Henry owns approximately 10-11 acres adjoining the 2.7 acre parcel in question. Steven Henry will be providing an easement across the 80,000 sq. ft. back lot to allow James Henry access to his acreage, A plat map is furnished to show the original 2.7 acre parcel and a survey has been ordered to show the proposed split and will be available for viewing at the variance meeting. As required by minimum standards, the square footage for an RD lake is doubled to 80,000 sq. ft., and the lot width will be approximately 500' which is more than the required 300'. The reason for this request is to accomodate a sale of the Steve Henry lakefront home and backlot and also to satisfy a verbal agreement between Steve and James Henry that James Henry would own a portion of the original 2.7 acre backlot. After consideration, motion v/as made by Bert Olson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 26' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for the construction of an 8’ by 24’ addition to an existing dwelling. Paul Michael Hermes - Approved Paul Michael Hermes, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance of 31' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' for the construction of a 12’ by 48’ addition to an existing dwelling 69’ from the ordinary high water level. The granting of this variance allows the applicant to enjoy the same rights and privileges as his neighbors. Charles Ponto - Approved Charles Ponto, Frazee, MN, requested a variance of 3’ from the 18’ maximum height requirement of a non­ dwelling structure (one story) for the construction of a 50’ by 100’ building with a height of approximately 21 ’, The property is described as part of Government Lot 6, Section 27 of Hobart Township on Long Lake. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 3’ from the 18’ maximum height requirement of a non-dwelling structure for the construction of a 50' by 100’ building with a height of approximately 21 ’.
