VARIANCE REQUESTED IS:
Request to subdivide a parcel being .8 acres and permanently-^ttaebing'to-proposeo*®^
Marquart Villa plat which consists of 9.1 acres. The land remaining to Joan Putnam exceeds
five acres.
The improvement of Marquart Villa preliminary plat is not possible v/ithout the
.8 acres being attached. The Marquart Villa improvement will eliminate three substandard
lots (two 30 foot lots and a 75 foot lot) and create legal lots.
Further, the purchase agreement on this property from Joan Putnam was signed
May 25, 1995. This was prior to the recent Otter Tail County Subdivision Ordinance
amendements which went into effect June 12, 1995. Joan Putnman signed the deed
June 13, 1995.
I have enclosed copies of the Marquart Villa preliminary plat, purchase agreement and
the deed.
I thank you for your consideration in this matter.
In order to properly evaluate the situation, please provide as much supplementary information as possible, such as: maps, plans,
information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING.
I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail
County.
