VARIANCE REQUESTED IS:
To build an addition v^ithin the 37.5 foot setback even with
the existing cabin wall. This north facing wall is 25 feet
setback from the lake line. Also, to build to the east two (2)
feet into the 10 foot sideyard setback. This is to allow for
improvement of the property with space required for bathroom and
kitchen facilities with running water and proper sewage disposal.
Note that green highlighted area on attached diagram indicates
variance area required.

Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to
approved a variance of 50' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75‘, a
variance of 12.5' from the required shore impact zone setback of 37.5' and a 2' variance from
the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the construction of an addition to the existing cabin.
The aldition will not be any closer to the lake than the existing structure. The applicant's
structure will not be any closer to the side lot line than the neighbor's structure. Hardship
being a substandard lot of record.

Richard Lyle Anderson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance of 131.1’ from the required
ordinary high water level setback of 200' and a variance of 31,1’ from the required shore
impact zone setback of 100' for the replacement of a 24' by 56' double wide mobile home with a
permanent 24' by 26' home with a basement. The property is described as part of Government
Lot 2, Section 17 of Buse Township on Dayton Lake. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling,
seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the variances as requested, as
the new dwelling will be no closer to the lake than the existing structure, with the provision
that the new structure meet all other ordinance requirements,
Jane H. Taylor - Approved
Jane H. Taylor, Moorhead, MN, requested a variance of 50' from the required ordinary high
water level setback of 75', a variance of 12.5' from the required shore impact zone setback of
37.5' and a 2' variance from the required side lot line setback of 1 O' for the construction of an
addition to the existing cabin. The property is described as part of Government Lot 5, Section
16 of Dunn Township on Fish Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against
the request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson
and unanimously carried, to approved a variance of 50' from the required ordinary high water
level setback of 75', a variance of 12.5' from the required shore impact zone setback of 37,5'
and a 2' variance from the required side lot line setback of 10' for the construction of an
addition to the existing cabin. The addition will not be any closer to the lake than the existing
structure. The applicant's structure will not be any closer to the side lot line than the

Kurt Erlondson - Approved
Kurt Erlandson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a split off of 4 - 50' by 75' parcels from an
existing 49,92 acre parcel and attach these parcels to the adjacent lots across the township road
in Grobe Beach and a variance to split off a 30' by 150' tract from the same 49,92 acre parcel,
this parcel is adjacent to the westerly side of Lot 1, Grobe Beach and will be attached to Lot 1 of
Grobe Beach, The property is described as part of Government Lot 1, Section 2 of Dunn
Township on Little Pelican Lake. The applicant was represented at this hearing by Arlan
Erlandson. The audience was polled with the following individuals speaking to this request;
Jerry Dow, Chuck Foster, and Melvin Wolff. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve the permanent
attachment of the 4 - 50' by 75' parcels to Lots 2,3,4 and 5 of Grobe Beach and to approve a
possible permanent attachment of a parcel up to 30' by 150' to Lot 1 of Grobe Beach. The
attachment of these parcels to the existing platted lots will make an Improvement to these lots.
