Motion was made by Cecil Femiing, seconded by Randall Mann and carried with George Walter
voting no, to approve a variance of 6' from the required side lot line setback of 10' for
the replacement of an existing 14' by 22' garage with a 24' by 30' double garage being 4'
from the north side lot line.It was noted that the terrain and topography of the adjacent
lot will restrict the placement of a structure parallel to the applicant's structure,
was noted at the meeting that the applicant's lot, with the addition of the new garage, has
impervious surfaces covering no more than 23X of the total lot area. Hardship being a
substandard lot of record.

STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF APPLICATION
The property, as it exists today, contains a single car-
garage approximately 14 feet wide and 22 feet long.Since we
purchased the property a couple of years ago, we have purchased
two fishing boats and a wooden boat that require storage in the
We have also purchased considerable outdoor furniturewinter.
that need space for storage.
In addition, during the season of use, we are in need of at
least two spaces to park vehicles.
Therefore, we propose to construct a 24' x 24' double garage
with a storage loft to allow for the storing of vehicles, boats.
outdoor furniture, water toys and other items used during the
season.
The proposed double garage would be log sided to match the
log siding to be put on the cabin during the upcoming months.
it would be very practical and will result in theTherefore,
saving of winter storage fees currently incurred for the storing
of boats.
Thank you for your consideration of this request and
application.
