(137), Range Forty-two (42), described as follows, to wit: Commencing 20 feet North of

Brian Kimm - Approved as modified with conditions. (7:00 p.m.)
Brian Kimm, Et Al, Lot 9 Rabes Crystal Beach, Crystal Lake in Lida Township, requested the following for a
replacement mobile home; We are requesting a variance of setback of 39’ from ordinary high water level
and of 12' from the drain field. We also request a variance of 18’ from right-of-way. Existing variance is for
4T from ordinary high water level and 19’ from road right-of-way. Existing structure is 38’ from the ordinary
high water level, 14’ from the drain field and 4’ from the septic tank. Robert Kimm appeared along with the
applicant at the public hearing. The audience was polled with Jeff Berg speaking for the variance as
requested. An email from Mark and Robyn Isaacson in support of the variance as requested was read for
the record. After discussion and consideration, Michael Conlon made a motion, second by Cecil Femling
and unanimously carried, to approve the placement of a structure (14’ by 66’ mobile home) 4T from the
ordinary high water level as depicted on the applicant's drawing with the following conditions: 1.) the
existing drain field must be abandoned, 2.) the existing septic tank must be converted to a holding tank, 3.)
the structure must be placed at least 10’ from the holding tank, 4.) the structure must be placed at least 10’
from the side lot line, and 5.) the structure can be 1.5’ closer to the road right-of-way than the existing
structure which will be approximately 17’ from the road right-of-way.
Brock and Cheryl Reade - Approved as requested with conditions. (7:19 p.m.)
Brock and Cheryl Reade, part of Government Lot 4, Section 25 of Everts Township by West Battle Lake,
requested a variance to have a substandard back lot declared buildable for nonresidentiai purposes. The
audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and
consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Joe Maske and unanimously carried, to approve
the variance as requested with the following conditions: 1.) the back lot must be permanently attached to
the applicants’ front (lake) lots and 2.) the area contained within the back lot cannot be used when
determining impervious surface coverage for front lot development.
Charles and Karen Jacobs - Approved as requested with conditions. (7:22 p.m.)
Charles and Karen Jacobs, part of Government Lot 7, Section 27 of Dora Township by East Silent Lake,
requested a variance to have a substandard back lot declared buildable for nonresidentiai purposes. The
audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and
consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Michael Conlon and unanimously carried, to
approve the variance as requested with the following conditions; 1.) the back lot must be permanently
attached to the applicants’ front (lake) lots and 2.) the area contained within the back lot cannot be used
when determining impervious surface coverage for front lot development. Hardship is a substandard lot of
record.

requested with a condition.

Timothy J and Becky A O’Keefe and Jeffrey and Rebecca LeDoux, Lots 5 and 6 Pelican Lake Park, part of
Lot 17, Pelican Lake Park Third Addition and part of Government Lot 6, Section 5 of Dunn Township by
Pelican Lake, requested the following: Requesting a variance from the subdivision plat requirements to
purchase property described on Exhibit "B” and shown on the attached map as the “Proposed Area” from
my neighbor and permanently attach it to the property described on Exhibit “A" and shown on the attached
map as the “O’Keefe Property” to square up the property lines. I cannot file a Subdivision Plat as there is a
guest cabin presently existing on the back lot which would violate the permanent restriction against
residential construction. My neighbor and I just want to straighten the line without adversely affecting either
property. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. A
letter from Frank Pearson in support of the variance as requested was read for the record. After discussion
and consideration, Cecil Femling made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to
approve the variance as stated in the variance application and as depicted on the drawing submitted with
the application with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided at the time of
conveyance.
