Otter Tail County Planning Commission October 15, 1980County Court House Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537 Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on October 15, 1980 at 7:30 P.M. in the Government Services Building, 505 South Court Street, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537. Beck, Portmann, Trites, Estes, Ryan, Jacobson and Martin. Members present were: A motion by Ryan, second by Jacobson to approve ^he minutes of the October 1, 1980 meeting as corrected, .1) Note why E. Paul Smart special use was denied should read in minutes; because of erosion problems that may occur and it would not be beneficial to the public. 2)Robert Jones special use - Jacobson and Ryan voted no on motion. Passed: Voting: All members in favor. Passed:A motion by Beck, second by Martin to table the special use applications of Herb ReHand and Chester Johnson on Otter Tail Lake, No. 56-2A2, GD, Sec. 22 of Amor Twp. until on-site inspection by at least 2 members of the Planning Commission and 1 member from Shoreland Management office, with Reiland, Johnson, Bob Hamness and Bob HamnessTery Lejcher, DNR and one member from Amor Twp. Board, spoke to the Commission and expressed that he would like proper drainage if they are allowed to fill area. Voting: All members in favor. Passed:A motion by Portmann, second by Estes to approve the special use application of the City of Dalton on Berger Lake, No. 56-582, NE, Sec. 2 of Tumuli Township to approve placing of culvert to control the outlet of Berger Lake at a level and construction to be set by the DNR in consultation with the City of Dalton and other concerned parties. Tom Athens representing Ryan and Moebius, and George Hartmann and Dick Fihn spoke to the commission. Voting: All members in favor. Passed:A motion by Estes, second by Martin to table the special use application of Bradford Henry, dated September 29, 1980 on Eagle Lake, No. 56-253, GD, Sec. 15 of Eagle Lake Twp. until Martin, Henry and contractor meet on-site.
