James Haberman^ Barney, ND, requested permission to construct 12' x 46’ add'n to
existing dwelling. O' frcm line on one side and 3' from lot line on other side, on
Lot 21, Pleasant Grove, Amor Township. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts to approve variance, using the string test, building no closer to lake than
neighbor on either side. Hardship being small lot of record, allow ^plicant to
enjoy same ric^ts and privileges as others in the neighborhood. The motion was
seconded by Craig Anderson with an amendment to read a 12' x 36' add'n with the
north-south line of the 36' to ccnply with existing house (dwelling), 7' variance.
The motion carried with Thomas Stringer voting "no".
Richard E. Pribbemow, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to split a lot,
selling 121' of Lot 15, retaining 20'for Lot 14, River Oaks, Fergus Falls Itwnship.
After consideration, motion was made by Thomas Stringer, seconded by Craig Anderson
and carried, to approve variance, hardship being terrain with no substandard lot
situation being created by this action.
Peter & Ruby VanSanten, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to build a cabin on
Lot 10, Van Santen Beauty Beach, Eagle lake Township, 22 feet from the right-of-w^
with the garage being a little closer.After consideration, motion was made by
Craig Anderson to allow an 18' variance from the right^f-way requirements,'hard
ship being a substandard lot with no other location for dwelling,
seconded by Roger Marty with an amendment to read 30' from road right-of-^way.

Loren Johnson, Intematicxial Falls, MN, requested permission to allow a storage shed
to renain at 36^5* from lakeshore on a tract east of Lot 3, in Section 10, Eagle Lake
Township. After listening to the various interested parties, rooticxi was by
Ihcmas Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to deny approval as there are
alternate spots cn the property to locate said storage shed.
Bonetta Anderson, Pembina, ND, requested permission to build a house closer than
100 feet from Little Rose Lake, on S.L. A of NW^^NV^, Section 17 Hdoart Township, or
50' from lake. AFter consideration, motion vas made by Thomas Stringer, seconded by
Craig Anderson and carried, to ^aprove construction at 50' from lake, hardship being
the terrcbn does not permit a dwelling structure in the area, an improvement by
getting rid of the outhouse and trailer as a condition, with the other structures
to be removed either immediately after or during construction of the new house.
