(8:17 p.m.) Marc Nokken, Lot 6 Morningside Beach, Pelican Lake in Dunn Township, requested a variance of 26.8% from the maximum allowable impervious surface coverage of 25% for total impervious surface coverage of 51.8% and a ' variance of 6’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for a 16’ by 30’ second floor addition 4’ from the side lot line and approximately 45’ from the ordinary high water level. A letter from Robert Levps in support of the variance as requeste'd was read for the record. After discussion arid consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 6’ frorri the required side lot line setback of 10’ for a 16’ by 30’ second floor addition 4’ from the side lot line and approximately 45’ from the ordinary high water level with the condition that no more than 25% of the total allowable lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces after the completion of the proposed development. It was noted that the variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances, for the proposed development. Gary and Virginia Knutson - Denied. (8:25 p.m.) Gary and Virginia Knutson, part of Government Lot 1, Section 7 of Dunn Township by Pelican Lake, requested a variance of 5’ 7” from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of a 16’ by 20’ addition to an existing dwelling 4.3’ from the lot line. Chris Heyer, Surveyor appeared with the applicants at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Michael Harris made a motion, second by Paul Larson and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship unique to the property had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested, the applicants can obtain a reasonable use of the property without the granting of the requested variance and another alternative which does not require the granting of a variance is available to the , applicants. Sharon Vaughn - Approved the variance application as requested. (8:31 p.m.) Sharon Vaughn, Lot 10 Cedar Park Club, Swan Lake in Dane Prairie Township, requested a variance of 44’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the construction of a new dwelling 56’ from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance,as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion,'second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 44’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the construction of a new dwelling 56’ from the ordinary high water level noting that after the completion of the proposed development the total impervious surface coverage will be 23%, It should be noted that the variance as. approved as not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the development as proposed.
